To be honest most videos you will not have a need to store to your device unless it is something suspicious or you want to be funny and send friends/family videos of themselves! Also just a note that downloading it does not remove it from their cloud, it will still stay and you can continue to download on other devices, etc. Integration'sIFTTT – I have hooked this up with my Nest Protect and Alexa channels. It works exactly as advertised. You can record video, change the color of the LED, and turn on and off the chime with Alexa. Echo – This is a recent addition that I am loving and am using mostly in place of IFTTT. We have a small toddler at home who still takes naps and the ability to ask Alexa to tell SkyBell to turn on quiet mode turn off bell is such a great feature. No more little signs on the front door saying “Baby Sleeping”, just tell Alexa and the doorbell is off while your child sleeps in peace. Love it!Wish list item: Ability to turn on and off motion detection from Alexa! This would be nice for the times you are out working near the porch with plants, etc. and don’t want to keep tripping the motion. Hopefully we see that soon. Nest – Have a nest account linked but I do not have the Nest Cam.

The doorbell is secured to your house via a metal base, so you don’t have to worry about anyone stealing your Nest Hello from your home. As you might expect, the Nest Hello connects to your Nest app along with all of your other Nest products. This can stand alone without any other Nest product, or works tremendously well with their lineup of thermostats, cameras, and home security products. The app allows you to choose what kind of notifications you receive, whether that is any time someone comes to your door or only when the doorbell is pushed. You can also access live video at any time from your smart phone. Nest makes it easy to track how often someone comes to your door, and you can easily scroll within a five day period to see who has come to your door. The Nest Hello is the product to have when it comes to best doorbell camera. The Ring and Skybell both offer great products, but the combination of “Quiet Time” and the facial recognition make The Nest Hello the leader of the pack. The Hello is easy to set up, with your Nest app giving you step by step instruction for setting up in about 15 minutes. It’s sleek design will add a sophisticated look to your front door, and the product itself works smoothly. The Nest Hello adds a level of security to your home, because it can clearly see and detect motion well beyond your front porch.
